Caroline Burton, our hard-working East Farndon Parish Clerk, retires at the end of October and the Parish Council has recently appointed Sarah Gresly to take over the role. On Thursday 6th November 2025, at the Village Hall, starting from 7pm, we have organised an informal drop-in event to meet Sarah, with drinks and nibbles provided. Everyone in the Village is invited and encouraged to come to meet Sarah, to put forward any questions, concerns or suggestions, or to just come and say hello. On Friday 7th November 2025, there will be a Fish and Chip supper evening, followed by a few games of Bingo, at the East Farndon Village Hall from 7pm – 10pm. Please note the change of date from the one previously advertised.

The cost of a ticket will be £10 per adult and £6 per child under 12, to include a meal. Please make your reservations by Friday 31st October at the latest, by contacting Mervyn Curtis via the Village WhatsApp, or call 07730 718532. Please advise of any dietary requirements.

There will be also be a cash and card Bar and a Raffle. Please support the evening, as a proportion of the profits will be donated to the ongoing upkeep of Marriott Green.

There will be a short wreath-laying service at the East Farndon War Memorial on Sunday 9th November 2025, starting at 11am. Please note that Main Street and Back Lane will be closed for a short period to allow the service to take place. Everyone is welcome at the Village Hall afterwards for tea, coffee and cakes, with any donations going to the Royal British Legion.

Our next Coffee Morning get together at the East Farndon Village Hall will be on Friday 28th November 2025, from 10.30am to 12.00 midday. You are very welcome to join us to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, plus toasted tea cakes, a selection of books and a raffle. All money raised is donated to village charities / causes or other local charities. Everyone is welcome and entry is free. Many thanks for your ongoing support.

Please join us on Saturday 13th December 2025 for our village Christmas Pantomime ‘Sinbad the Sailor’ to be performed by the travelling Northants Theatre Company LOL. The fun will start at 1pm with doors open from 12.45. For tickets, please contact Jo Shaw using the details on the poster.

Everyone is very welcome to attend our family friendly Christmas Carol and Christingle service at East Farndon Church on Sunday 21st December 2025, starting at 4pm.
