Friday 26th April 2024 – Coffee Morning – Village Hall – 10.30am
The next Coffee Morning get together will be on Friday 26th April 2024, from 10.30am to 12.00pm. As well as being a sociable get together of friends and neighbours past and present, the gatherings raise valuable funds for East Farndon charities and other causes through the sale of refreshments, books and raffles. Everyone is welcome and entry is free.
Friday 17th May 2024 – Alan Langley History Talk – Village Hall – 7.30pm
Alan will deliver another of his now legendary illustrated history talks on Friday 17th May 2024, starting at 7.30pm in the East Farndon Village Hall. This talk will focus on ‘How to Deci-pher an Ancient Language: the Solution to a 50-year Mystery.’ There really is a local connection – the hero of the story is buried in Welford, not far from East Farndon! Please come along and listen if you can, admission is £5, refreshments included.
Friday 31st May 2024 – Coffee Morning – Village Hall – 10.30am
Thursday 6th June 2024 – D-Day 80th Anniversary Event – Village Hall – 6pm to 10pm
Please join us at East Farndon Village Hall for a special event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Tickets are £8 each to include a fish & chips supper (6.45pm) and themed quiz. There will be a pay bar, however, please bring some cash along as there will be collection buckets on the night. All event profits will be donated to the Royal British Legion. Saturday 15th June 2024 – Village Fete – Haynes Field – 1.30pm
Please save the date and join us at the East Farndon Village Fete on Saturday 15th June 2024. This will be held at Haynes Field, Harborough Road, East Farndon, LE16 9SG. There will be stalls, games, food and drink, with parking available. Everyone welcome! More information will be published nearer the time.
