East Farndon launches new Village Logo

A new village logo has been created for East Farndon to further express our rural and historic village setting. It can be used by all local organisations on their documentation, publicity and fund raising media. The logo was designed by Sam and Neil Beesley with input from a number of residents, including our local historians. The logo represents our rural and historic setting by highlighting the church, the beech tree on the village green, our farming landscape and a fern. Farndon means ‘Ferny Hill’ with ‘fearn’ being old english for ferns or ferny place and ‘dun’ being old english for hill. To learn more about East Farndon and to download the new logo in either jpeg or pdf format, please use this link to Read our Village Story. We would love to hear your comments on this!
